This is a water tanker fire truck. During routine maintenance of the fire truck, it was discovered that the fire pump bearing had failed. Inspection revealed that residual water had not been drained after use during the winter, causing the cooling pipe to crack. Water then entered the gearbox, leading to rust and eventual damage of the bearing. The faulty part was removed and replaced with a new one. This incident highlights the importance of proper maintenance for pumper tanker and fire tanker trucks—especially in cold weather conditions. After operating fire trucks, always remember to drain the remaining water to prevent such damage.
